DubLi Auction Mercedes for $8,000

Dave Duncan from Orlando Florida places the lowest Unique Bid on DubLi’s auction portal and drives off with a brand new 2009 Mercedes C-300!

DubLi’s Luxury Mercedes C-300 On Unique Bid Gets a New Home

  

Do you remember when DubLi announced they were auctioning off a brand new European luxury vehicle in Unique Bid, but when it appeared on the website they purposely draped the vehicle from head to toe so no one would know which European luxury model vehicle would be auctioned off? It would remain a secret with DubLi until the auction concluded. It kept everyone guessing as to what the vehicle would be which only heightened the suspense throughout the entire auction.

As the final hours ticked down towards the conclusion of Unique Bid Auction, the bidding accelerated at a frenzied pace as eager customers placed their final unique bids spending those DubLi credits; dreaming of capturing the big prize.

 

When the final seconds ticked down to zero indicating the conclusion of the auction, one person would emerge victorious with the lowest and unique bid and would ultimately drive off as the proud owner of a brand new 2009 Mercedes C-300 Sports Sedan.

 

Dave Duncan from Orlando Florida whose bid of $8050 would ultimately be the lowest and unique bid placed at the conclusion of the auction is the lucky recipient of a brand new 2009 Mercedes Pearl White C-300 sports sedan.

 

Rik McCoy, the Director of Marketing for DubLi went directly to Orlando in order to personally hand over the keys to Dave and at the same time make it possible to capture the moment on film and video for DubLi associates around the world to see.

 

The following is Rik’s description of the event as published in DubLi’s July 28th Newsletter.

  

 When Dave was informed by DubLi that his bid was the lowest and unique for the Mercedes he was delirious with excitement, as he retold me the story and although he had made several purchases through DubLi’s Express Auction in the past, nothing could prepare him for the biggest prize he was about to receive from DubLi. What’s amusing about Dave’s story is that his girlfriend and best friend didn’t believe him when he first told them the news; in fact they thought he was trying to play a practical joke, but gradually he was able to convince them by showing the actual email he had received from DubLi, but still they remained skeptical; supportive but skeptical.

When I arrived at the dealership in Orlando, there stood a brand new Mercedes C-300 Sports Sedan with a fabulous pearl white exterior paint job, chrome wheels, sun roof and luxurious charcoal leather interior. It even had a full tank of gas…every last detail had been carefully looked after. I couldn’t wait to see the look on Dave’s face when he would actually see his new car for the first time. I was so thrilled to be a part of this incredible event and impressed how DubLi had spared no expense for this amazing car. The company even paid the taxes and registration so Dave’s only out of pocket expense was the cost of the bid itself. If you pressed me to come up with a single word describing DubLi and the attention to detail that went into creating this event, it would be… CLASS. Need I say more?

 

I distinctly recall Dave driving up to the dealership in an old pick up truck with his best friend and girlfriend at his side and watching him frantically waving his arms out of the truck as he pulled into the parking lot obviously seeing his new car for the first time and the crowd of people who had gathered to see what was going on.

 

 

The smile on his face and the sparkle in his eyes said it all, while his girlfriend and best friend looked numb as if the reality of the moment hadn’t set in yet. “You see, you see, I told you, I told you” is all Dave could manage to say as he ran a complete circle around the car stopping to hug the hood of his new car and then carefully looking over every inch of his remarkable prize from bumper to bumper as if to soak in every second from this special moment, knowing he would remember this day for the rest of his life. I couldn’t be happier for Dave because he is a person who is truly passionate about the DubLi business model which made the event even more special because it was genuine.

If there is such a thing as THE Perfect Customer, it would have to be Dave Duncan, and it was an honor in every sense of the word for me to hand over the keys to this special person who was truly appreciative in every sense of the word.

The next 90 minutes went by so fast it was like a blur as pictures and video captured the entire moment in film for all to see. In the end, it was a time we will all remember well and the memories of this event will remain fresh in our minds for years to come, and then it was time for us to bid our farewells.

 

Dave shook everyone’s hand for the 50th time, thanked DubLi for his beautiful car at least 1,000 times, and then got into his new Mercedes complete with a DubLi license plate. Next he started up the car for the first time put it into gear and slowly pulled out of the dealership with his girlfriend comfortably seated next to him in the passenger’s seat now firmly convinced by the reality that Dave indeed had placed the lowest and unique bid. We all stood waving to Dave and then he stopped for a moment to acknowledge everyone involved and gave us one long final wave goodbye, and then he quietly sped away, ending one of DubLi’s truly great moments in the history of our innovative Unique Bid auction.

DubLi, DubLi, Dubli!

DuDubLi business growthbLi, DubLi, DubLi!  What’s in a name? When comes the fame?
How Fast or how slow?  How will it grow? 

Timing is everything.  Today, looking back with hindsight, if you had had a chance to share in the wealth that was to become eBay, or partner with those bright kids from Stanford, when Google was born, or even to join Jeff Bezos when Amazon emerged, wouldn’t you say yes?  Now, with that hindsight, you can say yes, because you see what they became (even though Amazon took years to turn a profit.)  

Well now if you look at DubLi today you don’t need hindsight, you just need foresight. 

The foresight to see that DubLi’s goal of becoming the world’s largest shopping portal is a realistic one.  It is based on sound planning and a brilliant, hybrid business model.  It’s history in Europe provides evidence of the profitability of the business model.  But more important for those of us who seek a business opportunity that really has an exit plan with a true residual income, this is a realistic goal for a DubLi Business Associate.  In those other companies which we just mentioned, there was not a part of the plan which allowed Associates to help develop a customer base, and share in the current and future viral growth potential.  But at this juncture, with DubLi, this is possible because we are ahead of the wave and part of a major trend.  As the brick and mortar shopping malls are struggling amidst a major global downturn, the internet sales have escalated during the same time period.

DubLi auction-winnerThe Fun Shopping at DubLi.com provides both bargains and entertainment shopping, with a competitive edge, as customers vie for products at great prices.  They spend 80 cents to see the price, and that causes the price to fall further.  So the actual decision as to when to purchase in the Xpress DubLi reverse auction platform is also an important matter of timing.   In the Zer0 and the Unique Auction formats, there are other choices and strategies with more of a game-playing attitude.  Different people will have different preferences. 

In the DubLi Business Model, once customers are on the DubLi site, they become aware of the fact that there is a second tab, for Shopping, which gives entrance to the enormous, online DubLi Shopping Mall.  This is the place where a much more extensive shopping experience can be had.  Customers can shop at over 1,000 major retail merchants, but receive discounts beyond those which would be received by shopping directly on the site, without the free DubLi membership.  This, then, is a Rewards Mall, and soon customers will see the savings advantage of being a member and even receiving “free auction credits” based on their purchases.  So they can spend these credits back at the Fun Shopping reverse auctions.

Thcinch for DubLie long awaited business tool, the CINCH and its companion, CONNECT have finally arrived on the scene after a period of beta testing. 

Eager DubLi Business Associates have been getting updates on the expected debut of the software programs.  The first of many, many trainings on the software was conducted on July 17 by Scott Davis of Lariat Software. 

DubLi  Associates were introduced to the capabilities of the current tool set.  It is now available for download.   The CINCH functions as a desktop tool and is free for DubLi Associates, and there is a free version for customers as well.   The CONNECT extends the communications capabilities and is available for about $15.00 monthly.

It’s a now a CINCH to send credits!  Here’s how…
dubli-breaking-newsThe Business Associate gets a CINCH on their Desktop with one-click access to key business tools, like “Send Credits”.  It also logs you in automatically to your Back Office and the Auction site.

You can sort your contacts by type such as “Customer Prospects” and add them to the recipients list to receive credits.  Then just write a message and specify the credit amount to send.  As soon as you Click “Send Message” the credits are sent!

DubLi Event set for Miami in August

Dean Mannheimer, DubLi Vice President and the top leader in the USA, announced on Monday June 23rd that there will be a very exciting event sponsored by DubLi on August 7-10 in Miami. 

A series of important announcements will be made in regard to where DubLi is going on a global level.  

DubLi Sales Directors and above are invited to a luxury resort in Miami with all expenses paid for three days.  In addition $250 will be contributed to their air fare. 

While there is no specific advance information about the special announcements,  the promise is that the news will be spectacular, and that the whole vision and the components of the business plan will be revealed.  As a result new directions will be launching.  It has been said that what will be forthcoming has never been done in the history of the industry.  The element of excitement and mystery is certainly delivered with this message.
